Southsea Sports FC 1–3 Whitehill & Bordon FC
Whitehill & Bordon FC secured an impressive away victory with a strong 3–1 win over Southsea Sports FC.
The Stags started brightly and took the lead through Ciaran Judd, who finished well to give Whitehill an early advantage. The visitors continued to play with confidence and soon doubled their lead when Ali Gill found the back of the net to make it 0–2.
Whitehill remained organised at the back and controlled much of the first half, going into the break with a deserved two-goal advantage.
Southsea Sports came out with renewed intent in the second half and managed to pull a goal back to make it 1–2, setting up a tense spell in the game.
However, the Stags responded well and restored their two-goal cushion when Ryan Davis scored to make it 1–3, settling the contest and putting Whitehill back firmly in control.
The visitors managed the remainder of the game professionally, defending well and seeing out the match to secure all three points on the road.
It was another solid all-round performance from Whitehill & Bordon, combining attacking quality with defensive discipline to take a valuable victory away from home.
