Hedge End Rangers FC 0–3 Whitehill & Bordon FC
Whitehill & Bordon FC produced a composed and clinical away performance to secure a well-earned 0–3 victory over Hedge End Rangers.
The Stags started brightly and looked dangerous from the outset, creating early pressure on the hosts. Their intent was rewarded when Shayne Warren opened the scoring, giving Whitehill & Bordon a deserved early lead.
The Stags continued to push forward, with George Bowerman going close soon after and James Hennessy also creating a strong opportunity as the visitors looked to build on their advantage.
The pressure paid off again when Mikey Cornwell added a second goal, giving the Stags breathing space and putting them firmly in control of the contest.
After the break, Whitehill maintained their attacking threat, with Bowerman again going close as the Stags searched for a third goal.
At the other end, Joe Choulerton was called into action and produced a couple of excellent saves to preserve the clean sheet and ensure Hedge End were unable to gain a foothold in the game.
The result was sealed when Ryan Davis found the net to make it 0–3, capping off a strong all-round performance.
Defensively, Whitehill & Bordon were solid throughout, seeing the game out professionally and securing a deserved clean sheet.
